G - "K Queen"
G is the new side project of Jimmy Giannopoulos and Genevieve Schatz, and the duo's latest track “K Queen” is such a great example of why I love electro-pop music. According to Genevieve the song is about "that sweet suspension between adolescence and adulthood when I played kick the can with my friends in the city streets after school before the sun went down and the creeps came out". If that wasn't enough to motivate you into listening, within seconds of hitting play you will be surrounded by a dense weave of snyths, percussion, and Genevieve's upbeat vocals. This is a great, great listen.
