Braids - "Taste"
"We experience the love that we think we deserve." Built around that phrase, “Taste” is a slow building melodic masterpiece from Montreal's Braids. The second single off of the band's upcoming album, Deep In The Iris, Taste centres on frontwoman Raphaelle Standell-Preston's dreamy vocals while the layered instrumentation that Braids is known for gradually crescendos. Once the song reaches its climax we then experience the beautiful outro to ease us back down to Earth.
Deep In The Iris is due out April 28th. And if you're seeing Purity Ring at all this spring, you may be fortunate enough to see Braids open for them.
