A Brief History

Before Rain City Sounds existed, Daniel had a habit of sending people music whenever he could, especially to a sister who had a habit of living all over the world, in obnoxiously long email blasts. After numerous requests for a single source of music that was easily accessible, Rain City Sounds was started. Over the years, more and more friends have added their voice and tastes

We have always been people who love music and love sharing it with people, which made our goal here is pretty simple: help you discover great new music - hopefully stuff you haven't heard before. Some of the songs on here you may like, others you may not. We update this as often as we can with new music, album reviews, playlists, and anything that may be related. We're always looking for new music so if you come across a new song that you want to share please send it m way. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy what you find.
