La Roux - Let Me Down Gently

I'm a few days late on this, but in the past couple hours I've been told by 6 different people that I need to hear La Roux's new track and that I will love it. Unsurprisingly, they were all right. Let Me Down Gently is a full-on '80s-themed song chock full of rhythmic synths, a driving beat, and Elly Jackson's serenading voice (something we haven't heard in almost 5 years). Taken off of the group's upcoming sophomore album, the song is ample proof that the group has no intentions of having a sophomore slump.
