alt-J - "Hunger of the Pine"

How I missed this yesterday is beyond me, but alt-J - my favourite band from 2012 and best concert I went to in 2013 - released the first track off of their upcoming album This Is All Yours. Much like anything off of their debut album, "Hunger of the Pine" is ephemeral and abstract. Joe Newman's undeniably unique vocals are as cryptic as they are catchy. This may not have the initial hook that their earlier releases have, but if you give this song a chance you will find yourself humming it to yourself long after it's ended.
