Oh Wonder - "All We Do"
I've talked about Oh Wonder before, the London-based group who's writing and releasing a new song every month for a year. Recently, release number 4 of 12 came out and somehow it is as good as everything else they've done (which is to say, very good). "All We Do" is their quietest song to date, relying solely on a repeating piano motif, the harmony between the two leads, and simple percussion at the climax of the song. There is beauty in simplicity, and this is a case study of how to do it correctly. Now all we have to do is wait for their next release January 1st.
