Sufjan Stevens - "No Shade in the Shadow of the Cross"

It's Monday, and as a treat we can now listen to the first single from Sufjan Stevens' new album, Carrie & Lowell. On my first listen of "No Shade in the Shadow of the Cross", one of the first things I noticed is how much deeper Stevens' voice is. The other big thing to note is that this track is on the folksier side compared to the more electronic-Stevens we saw on Age of Adz (and his work with Sisyphus). In the end, the important thing is that we have more Sufjan Stevens to listen to which is always a plus.
