Black Coast - "Ride" (feat. M. Maggie)
When I wrote about Black Coast (the solo project of producer Stan Rapoport) back in early January they had just released the positively infectious electro-pop song "Enough" featuring vocals from M Maggie. Since then, Rapoport has been quietly working away on more material, and earlier this week released “Ride”, the third (and final) track featuring vocals from M Maggie. In contrast to the two previous released, "Ride" is downtempo and relaxed, even a little dark. Just like his first two songs though, M Maggie's vocals work perfectly with Rapoport's productions and the two artists seem like a perfect match, especially when the tempo and energy pick up right at the climax. I'm a little sad that this partnership is coming to an end (at least for now) but at the same time I'm excited to see who Rapoport will get next to help him create even more musical magic.
