BANNERS - "Shine A Light"

Earlier this year, Mike Nelson (aka RAINES) released his debut single, "Ghosts", which was a beautiful introduction to the UK singer's beautiful voice. Since then Nelson has become BANNERS and has now given us a second single, the stadium-worthy "Shine A Light". Where "Ghosts" was delicate and airy "Shine A Light" is powerful and bold, but  both tracks heavily feature and highlight Nelson's incredible vocal talent and writing skills. Of the song Nelson says,

““The song is about feeling lost at sea and desperately searching for a beacon of light. It’s about waiting for that one big wave to finally pull you under while clinging on to that one last ray of hope. It’s a song to the person in your life that offers salvation while the storm is raging around you.””
