Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - "Growing Up (Sloane's Song)" ft. Ed Sheeran

Sophomore albums in general are never an easy task (hence the term "sophomore slump"). When the debut album you're trying to followup is a Grammy award-winning, multi-platinum record such as The Heist, the pressure is even higher. This might explain why Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have been out of the spotlight for almost 3 years, presumably at work on just such a followup. That being said, earlier this week the Seattle duo broke their silence and release "Growing Up (Sloane's Song)", a heartfelt song to Macklemore's future daughter that features the always-welcome Ed Sheeran. It's hard to say after hearing only one song whether the duo will be able to repeat (or surpass) the success of their first album, but with "Growing Up" you can safely say they are sure as hell going to try.
