Maudlin Strangers - "I Suppose"

When we first wrote about Maudlin Strangers back in 2014, I had expected to had a lot of new material to talk about over the next few years. I was wrong. After releasing the fantastic EP Overdose, Maudlin Strangers fell silent for reasons unknown. Then, over the weekend, I heard "I Suppose", a brand new single from the one-man band that proves that even though he wasn't releasing new music, he certainly wasn't idle. "I Suppose", taken from the upcoming EP Midnight, is a beautiful indie track that slowly swells throughout, ending on a beautiful vocal-heavy crescendo that will leave you with a pleasant feeling. We said this the first time we heard a Maudlin Strangers song, and we'll say it again - look for more great things to come.
