deryk - "Call You Out"
“Call You Out” is the debut single from Auckland’s deryk, and it is something else entirely. Most of the music posted here is on the brighter side, but “Call You Out” is decidedly dark. But it is dark in the best way possible. Drawing comparisons to both Lorde and Billie Eilish as well as James Blake, deryk weaves a somber tapestry with airy vocals and minimal production. Hopefully we hear more music from her sooner rather than later.
