Tom Misch & Yussef Dayes - "Tidal Wave"
While this is hardly a new song (it originally came out in April), Tom Misch and Yussef Dayes’ “Tidal Wave” just resurfaced last week with the release of a beautiful video which re-ignited my interest in the track. With the sort of buttery-smooth production you would expect from these two artists, “Tidal Wave” crests during the chorus with hypnotizing snare drum work, muted horns, and beautiful lyrics. This is what it’s all about.
