Yehra - "Daydreaming"
Yehra are somewhat of an unlikely duo. One—vocalist Jen Mahon—was born in Barbados and now lives in Toronto, and the other—producer Rasmus Liebst—is Danish and a member of Danish/Icelandic duo Kura. The two have never met in person and yet have been collaborating for over a decade. And while their musical influences and aesthetics may seem conflicting, their debut song “Daydreaming” shows that they have plenty in common. Much like the name would suggest, “Daydreaming” is relaxing and grounded, but has a lightness to it that will take you soaring through the clouds. As a first taste of what Yehra is all about, it has us all salivating for more.
