Caravan Palace - "Mirrors"

Well, I’m back after a brief (2+ year) hiatus. A lot has changed in that time, and while I thought maybe I wouldn’t come back to writing about music, here I am. the main reason for the sudden reappearance is due to my sudden secondment to Finland, where I have a lot of spare time. [Cut to writing about music].

First up is the infectiously headbob-worthy “Mirrors” by Electro-Swing band Caravan Palace. I’m new to Caravan Palace, but damn if this song doesn’t worm its way into my brain for hours on end. I don’t really know how to classify this weird mix of horns, synths, and a club-worth beat, but here we are. It’s good to be back.
