Refs - "Pain Goes Away"

Brand-new music time! Refs, a new group out of NYC composed of former members of Black Light Dinner Party, has just released their debut track, "Pain Goes Away", and quite frankly it is better than a lot of the stuff you hear from more seasoned bands. It is cool, gritty, suave, and poppy. The production is remarkably simple and oh-so clean, and the vocals have a range that I was not expecting. I cannot wait to hear more from these guys as I haven't been this caught off guard by a song since I first heard SOHN's "The Wheel", and that is about as high as praise as I know.
