20syl - "Back & Forth"

20syl's Motifs EP was easily one of my favourite electronic releases of 2014, if only because 20syl's sound is one of the most unique out there (it's also all kinds of catchy). So when I heard a few days ago that he was releasing a followup EP, aptly called Motifs II, I was understandably excited. Then I heard the first single from it, "Back & Forth", and I was damn near ecstatic. "Back & Forth" is 20syl at his creative best, combining electronic and analogue elements to make a song that would fit in as comfortably at a late night dance party as it would in a video game. Keep your eyes on this producer, as he doesn't show any signs of slowing down.
