ANIMA! - "Breathe"

This one comes courtesy of a friend of mine who both has impeccable taste in music and (almost annoyingly) knows exactly the kind of songs I enjoy. I wasn't immediately sold on "Breathe", but the longer I listened to it the more I like it and by the end I was completely smitten. Taken from South African/Californian duo ANIMA!'s debut three-track EP, Be Here Now, "Breathe" is by far my favourite of the lot. This song is unlike anything I have ever heard before, blending together some pretty abstract electronic elements with sounds that are almost folk-y. I'm hooked.
