Stars - "Fluorescent Light"

With the announcement that we can expect a new Stars album in October, the band has released "Fluorescent Light", giving us another taste of what we can expect in a few months. This is a Stars song for every Stars fan - so as huge Stars fans we are pumped. A back and forth conversation between boy and girl, a staple of some of Stars' best songs, transitions into a soaring chorus that you can't help but want to sing along to.

Torquil and Amy provide pleas to get someone, us, anyone really, to "come out with me tonight". It's another incredibly catchy Stars song which is actually totally depressing when you actually listen to the lyrics, a feature that Stars does better and better as they mature with each album. We are happy with these feels, "Fluorescent Light" is absolutely delightful. 

Stars' upcoming album, There Is No Love In Fluorescent Light, is due out this fall.
