St. South - "RED"
It has been almost 5 years since I first stumbled across Olivia Gavranich’s St. South and fell in love with her production, style, and voice. Since then, I (and many others) have been eagerly waiting for when she would finally release her debut album. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago and the Australian quietly dropped Get Well Soon. I’m only just realizing this now, and I am equally enraptured with St South now as I was then. While the whole album is worth a listen, my current obsession is the electro-soul gem “RED” and the struggles involved in leaving behind a toxic relationship.
